Helen Brooks: Accident? It was murder! Robert Collins killed my parents and destroyed my family. They threw us in that horrible orphanage, my sister died there shortly after. My entire life collapsed because of that selfish family.

Detective Carter: Your sister died in the orphanage due to a meningitis outbreak, correct?

Helen Brooks: Meningitis? That's what they said! What happened to my sister was not a disease, it was murder. She was a victim of something terrible in that place. I've been investigating her death for years, and Emma was getting close to discovering who was really responsible. I would do anything to put that person behind bars.

Detective Carter: You have an extensive collection of occult materials. What is your connection to the symbols found on the victim's body?

Helen Brooks: They are ancient symbols that I study academically. I have nothing to do with what happened to Emma, although, frankly, I don't regret what happened to her.
