Helen Brooks is a prominent figure in Ravenwood, holding notable positions as a municipal librarian and president of the historical society. She graduated with degrees in Library Science and History from Washington State University in 2004, returning immediately to her hometown after completing her studies.
From a young age, her life was marked by traumatic events. At nine years old, her parents tragically died after being run over by Robert Collins, the father of victim Emma Collins. Subsequently, Helen and her younger sister were taken to Saint Cruz Orphanage. A few months later, her sister died under mysterious circumstances at the orphanage, an event that further deepened her emotional isolation and resentment.
Although she has never committed recorded violent acts, some informal reports highlight antisocial tendencies and a possible deep-seated grudge specifically directed at the Collins family, due to a sense of injustice over her parents' and sister's deaths.
