Detective Carter:  Good afternoon, Dr. Wilson. Thank you for coming. First, could you tell me a bit about your relationship with Emma Collins?

Dr. Wilson:  Good afternoon, detective. Well, my relationship with Ms. Collins was quite limited. She came to my clinic a few times asking general questions about the city's public health, my medical routine, and my volunteer work. I didn't have any deeper or more personal interaction with her.

Detective Carter: I see. About this volunteer work, doctor, could you explain a bit more?

Dr. Wilson: Certainly. For many years, I've dedicated part of my time to Ravenwood's community clinic, providing free medical care to people who don't have sufficient financial resources. I do this as a way of giving back and helping the community. It's something I'm proud of and do with great pleasure.

Detective Carter: I understand, very noble of you. Going back to the case, did Emma make any comments or ask any questions that caught your attention or made you uncomfortable during your conversations?

Dr. Wilson: Not particularly. Her questions were always quite general, mainly related to public health and the city's medical history. Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary, at least as far as I perceived.

Detective Carter: Dr. Wilson, could you tell me where you were in the early morning of the murder, between midnight and two AM?

Dr. Wilson: I was in my office. I had a surgery scheduled for the next day, so I was preparing medical notes and reviewing procedures. There are even records of these activities that I can provide to corroborate my statement.

Detective Carter: Doctor, some witnesses reported seeing a vehicle similar to yours near the old church on the night of the crime. How do you explain that?

Dr. Wilson: I really have no idea. My car was parked in the office garage all night. I didn't go near that area, and I believe the witness must have been mistaken or confused about the vehicle.

Detective Carter: I understand. Doctor, could you tell me if you ever felt that Emma Collins could represent any threat to your professional or personal reputation?

Dr. Wilson: Not at all, detective. I'm a transparent person, and my medical career has always been conducted ethically. I can't imagine anything Emma could have discovered that would compromise my integrity.

Detective Carter: Doctor, one last more direct question. Did you have any direct or indirect involvement in Emma Collins' death?

Dr. Wilson: Absolutely not. That insinuation is absurd. I've never hurt anyone, and I would never do something like that. My life is dedicated to health and caring for people.

Detective Carter: Very well, Dr. Wilson, thank you very much for your cooperation. We'll contact you again if needed.

Dr. Wilson: Of course, I'll be at your disposal. I truly hope you find who did this to Emma soon. She was so young and didn't deserve something like this.

Additional Notes:

Dr. Wilson remained calm for most of the testimony, but showed slight signs of discomfort when questioned about his presence near the crime scene. A detailed verification of the records he provided is recommended to confirm his alibi.
